In this exhibition, the concept of my work is based on Yugen, the traditional philosophy of Japan, which is the Japanese way of explaining the aesthetic of things that create an emotional response that you cannot explain in words. For example, the feeling that you get when you watch a sunset, or the feeling that you get when you see a newborn baby. It is inexplicable because it’s a profound mystery, connected to the universe.
